Currently having a Corne du Diable IPA........love this beer! I've been very impressed with all of Dieu du Ciel's stuff that I've had so far.

Yeah, I should have picked up some of that when it was available to me here. Right now I`m drinking a Mad Tom IPA.

I still have never had a Mad Tom, but I've heard nothing but great things about that IPA.Tony L wrote:Yeah, I should have picked up some of that when it was available to me here. Right now I`m drinking a Mad Tom IPA.

Drinking my Flying Monkey Smashbomb Atomic IPA clone.... 2Hands-1Mouth was kind enough to bring me back a glass from his last visit back home to Ontario.

I think it was pretty close but I've hopefully got someone bringing me back a bottle for tasting notes if my keg holds out that long.canuck wrote:^ How did your Smashbomb turn out? Close to the original?

Re: What's everyone drinking tonight?
I have a clone of it I am bottling tonight. I have great expectations for it from the smell and taste from samples drawn from the conical. One of my buddies dropped off a bottle of Smashbomb to me thinking I hadn't tried it, so I kept it to do a side by side tasting when it is ready.ethier.sc wrote:I think it was pretty close but I've hopefully got someone bringing me back a bottle for tasting notes if my keg holds out that long.canuck wrote:^ How did your Smashbomb turn out? I love Mad Tom, but I think there is more hop goodiness in the Smashbomb than the Mad Tom. Too bad I can't get Smashbomb as a regular brew here. Lucky I can get Tankhouse and so far Mad Tom.

Should give Chalmers an e-mail to pick up some to bring back with him today for you. He leaves today, so I wouldn't wait too long to get to him.

On their site, which usually means it's in store. If you call, they'll put some aside for you.
I left YYT last night, actually, Tony. And missed this discussion.

It was a shot in the dark you would have seen the post or even an e-mail in time to get one. I must pick up some tomorrow to have on hand while my IPA
is finishing. Having said that, I'm sipping and totally enjoying a Stone Ruination IPA right now.

Brew belt buckle reunion. Always get something different from Arrogant Bastard. This one was pretty fresh fortunately.

Re: What's everyone drinking tonight?
Just wrapped up a great night of food and beer tasting with Laura, my brother and sister-in-law. They were recently in Boston and picked up a nice haul on the way back. The Magic Hat Hibiscus Cucumber was the consensus winner. The only dud was the Magic Hat Blind IPA. Not hops to it at all. Just stale and sour.
