Chalmers is awesome
So, unexpectedly in St. John's for a couple of days on business, leaving the Yellow Belly tonight after a quick bite and beer and Chalmers pulls up to the curb quickly in traffic, 'wanna go get a beer?' Yes I do Chris, yes I do.
I know you all know this but it's worth while saying every so often, that Chalmers fella is awesome.

Re: Chalmers is awesome
best neighbor ever!
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Oh geez! Stop stroking my ego!
Thanks to you, JohnnyMac, or else I wouldn't have been able to enjoy those tasty big Brooklyn beers, or probably had that great truffle Mac & Cheese. And, most importantly, great conversation as always!

Re: Chalmers is awesome
Thanks for the shout-out GRock, but I must say that all of the Friday Wrap-up posts are definitely a dual effort between berley and I. We alternate authorship/login info so the post count doesn't look too lopsided on the site, but we both have our hands in every one. Well, unless I'm incommunicado due to travel and Shawn does all the work!
