Beer appreciation classes
My husband and I attended some wine appreciation classes years ago and learned a lot. I've never heard of such a thing for beer; has anyone heard of any place offering such a thing?

Re: Beer appreciation classes
I led a "guided tasting" of a bunch of NS beers recently as part of a series put on by CAPS/sommelier association. It was pretty fun and the attendees seemed to really enjoy it, though we don't have plans for a repeat in the immediate future. Watch the CAPS websites though, they'll announce another at some point.
I think Angeline Maclennan hosts guided tastings, too. You can find her as @palealewife on Twitter. She's a smart cookie!
