A thread for random crap on the internet
Just decided to make a place to post stuff that really has little use anywhere else other. Like this.

When I was in Vegas I took a look at some of the menu items at the heart attack grill (the burger from the 2nd pic), it was crazy! One guy actually had a heart attack in the restaurant the night that we were there..

Do you know that they have been doing mass burials in the US this year? Big open pits of corpses in plain wooden crates transported by U-Haul. One box has 26 babies and a bunch of parts....

Detroit is systematically being abandoned....An estimated 40% of the street lights in Detroit are broken, and the city doesn’t have the money to repair them even if there was any public demand for them to be in working order. Seventeen percent of the street lights date back to the 1920s and would cost hundreds of millions to repair or replace. Many others have long been stripped for their metal wiring. The city hopes to borrow enough money to replace and upgrade roughly half of the lights operating in the city, but will only do so in certain areas. It hopes this will encourage Detroit’s existing population to concentrate itself in a more economically viable, smaller core.

Hopefully these guys didn't have to settle for Picaroons/Pump House after their long weekend plans went up in smoke.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

How about
"As a homebrewer I feel like a god; I create a perfect environment in which my yeast can thrive for generations, and then I watch gleefully as they reproduce and multiply to the point they die in their own filth. I wonder if will God enjoy the apocalypse as much as I enjoy beer." - Anonymous Facebook status update.

Re: A thread for random crap on the internet
We get this odd catalogue every month that contains hundreds of overpriced novelty items, interspersed with the very occasional "why-didn't-anybody-think-of-that-before" item.
This month's had the oddest and most overpriced yet: The Professional Microbrewery Only $45,000 (which is actually $4,000 less than in the catalog - "Honey, I just saved $4,000!!!")

Yeah, when I first saw the picture I thought - "I just saw one of those this week". Then I realized it was probably scaled down from the other one. Two growlers and eight five-liter kegs! AND a mash paddle.mr x wrote:That's hilarious, looks to be all Blichmann. They even throw in 2 growlers, lmfao....
