Car Washes in HRM

Post by NASH » Fri May 04, 2012 11:24 pm

Thought I'd post about this little gem I found on the Darkside for those that don't have a yard or other place to wash your ride like me. If you know of any other good spots post 'em up :cheers2:

I used to go to the old Rubber Ducky car wash and routinely drop $10 - $16 scrubbing the beast down until I found these guys. They do a great job with the right tools in their 'drive-thru' wash for $8! Plus they offer full detailing service for just about anything you need done.

Nature washes my car for me (and waters my lawn).

What do they use to wash with? I'm not a fan of having my trucked washed with those brushes like at the rubber ducky

Agreed. I own an automotive detailing business myself and can tell you that those brushes are death to your paint. As an example, there is a recent customer that uses one of those brushes.

Neither am I, I take my own washing tools to a place like the Rubber Ducky. That shit destroys paint in a hurry, right full of dirt.

These dudes use big brushes that appear to be very soft, plush and clean. But then again I can't say for sure since my paint job is a mess of swirls straight from the dealer! Do NOT allow dealers to give you complimentary washes after servicing

VW always washes my car whenever I get anything done to my car.

From what I saw them do to Nash's car, I wouldn't let VW anywhere near mine. It wasn't a huge fix, but it was pretty obvious and shouldn't have been returned to the customer like that.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
