Looking to Buy a March Brew Pump

Post by HotBreak » Wed Oct 26, 2011 1:08 pm

Anyone know a Canadian Company that sells March Brew Pumps?
Found a U.S. place but it will run me almost $200.
There must be somewhere cheaper?

Hopdawgs.ca has them, with shipping it will still come close to $200, no need to worry about brokerage fees though.

I got mine from the US. There's a new company out there making ss knockoffs. Chugger pumps.

I forgot about chugger, if you're not in a hurry you may want to wait until mid-Nov. According to their facebook page they'll start sending out new pumps the week of Nov 4th.

I have heard bad things about Chugger... Namely low quality

Buy a March, Buy it once.

I got my 809-HS pumps in Canada through John Brooks Company Ltd, Eastern offices in Mississauga and Montreal. Paid $200 each back in 08, freight prepaid after some whining on my part. Seems to me that they were a little cheaper at More Beer but I didn't have to fuck with freight and duty.

I'm with Nick, shell out for the March 809 and buy it once.

I got mine from burt process in the US. Was under 160 to my door with a brass head.

FWIW, I here morebeer has redesigned the head for better pumping.

Bumpity bump

HotBreak - Did you order a pump? Where from and what price?

I've just been given the green light to buy a March pump - I'm thinking I'll get more use out of March pump than a plate chiller.
