I've bought all the elbows and fitting for the immersion chiller but haven't assembled it yet!Tony L wrote:Hell of a lug to get it there though.

Super easy to clean and sanitize, Tony. Bake it in the oven and flush it out when you need to give it a thorough cleaning. I only do that every four or five brews, other than that, hot PBW does the trick. Sanitizing is as easy as firing it in a bucket of StarSan for a few minutes or just recirculating boiling wort through it for the last 10 minutes of the boil.Tony L wrote:CorneliusAlphonse wrote:I've bought all the elbows and fitting for the immersion chiller but haven't assembled it yet!Tony L wrote:Hell of a lug to get it there though.
I was half thinking about getting a plate chiller, but I thought a little about it and am getting good results from my IC, so why should
I go the extra expense and have so much fooling around to keep it clean and sanitized?
I think I'll just keep what I got and save myself a hundred.
