FS - 10 gallon Rubbermaid cooler mashtun - $95
Comes with ball valve and 12" SS false bottom and all connections. It's all in excellent condition, false bottom is practically brand new. Holds temp very well. Perfect size for 5 gallon batches, but I need to help finance my switch to 10 gallon. I can run this into the city or to the valley tomorrow if anyone is interested.

I'd take it. I'm in Dartmouth but could meet wherever us convenient.

Sounds good. I'll send you a PM with my cell number. I'll be in/around the city for a couple hours after lunch tomorrow.

I've been doing 10g batches with the same size cooler - maxes out on IPA's, 1.064OGHub Brewer wrote:Comes with ball valve and 12" SS false bottom and all connections. Wow, must be a squeeze. To be honest I never actually measured to see if it would do a 10g batch. Just from eyeballing 5g ones I didn't think it would hold it. Maybe my mashes are too thin and I could've thickened them up to make it work. Oh well. OldMalt is happy I think.LeafMan66_67 wrote:I've been doing 10g batches with the same size cooler - maxes out on IPA's, 1.064OGHub Brewer wrote:Comes with ball valve and 12" SS false bottom and all connections. I am, but if this thread has given you second thoughts, by all means keep it and try out a 10 g batch. I just get dibs if you decide you still want to sell

I never did end up using this mash tun, so I'm reselling it if anyone wants it? I'm in Downtown Dartmouth. I'll also be listing a couple of SS kettles with temperature probe and second port.
