Count me in as long as it's ok to replace some of the pale ale with extract.

Re: Glenora 10yr Barrels
You're all pretty much going to have to do that. I'd recommend 10‰ sugar mandatory as well. I think you should probably expect up to 30 percent extract for most of our mashtuns.

Re: Glenora 10yr Barrels
How's this look?
I just dumbed down Nash's suggestion based on what would probably be easiest to track down quickly.
7.93 kg Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 1 81.5 %
0.58 kg Aromatic Malt (26.0 SRM) Grain 2 6.0 %
0.49 kg Melanoiden Malt (20.0 SRM) Grain 3 5.0 %
0.39 kg Caramel/Crystal Malt - 30L (30.0 SRM) Grain 4 4.0 %
0.29 kg Amber Malt (22.0 SRM) Grain 5 3.0 %
0.05 kg Roasted Barley (300.0 SRM) Grain 6 0.5 %

I think we should have an extra person or two ( or one or two people do double batch) in case a batch is no good

Good idea. Also with the 8 oz dry hop additions, we may loose a bit extra per carboy to hop matter.CorneliusAlphonse wrote:I think we should have an extra person or two ( or one or two people do double batch) in case a batch is no good

Re: Glenora 10yr Barrels
If you want to use my setup feel free lol. Due to the massive renovation schedule I have under way I can't commit to this brew. Didn't expect it to come so quick.Jimmy wrote:Don't count my suggestion for IRA - I'm not able to brew anything for this..I just know I fackin' love that barrel aged desecration!
Landscaping, Deck, 8 Windows, 1 patio door, and finish off a bedroom and trim work before June 7th's event. I think I may need to take a week off work lol.

I'm late to the party but I'd be in if there's room. Someone please confirm with me and please confirm recipe, required by dates and location. This thread isn't exactly full of concrete answers.

Yup, we need to make a decision if this is actually happening or not asap. I can brew on Saturday, but that's the only chance I'll get.EverwoodAveBrewShop wrote:I'm late to the party but I'd be in if there's room.
