FS: Carboys, Buckets and Boxes - Oh my!
Hey Everyone,
I'm still cleaning out the closets and here's what's for grabs this week. Pickup at the store during hours or I can deliver through the week if it works out. All of this stuff is OBO but I'd like to recoup something for it.
In the pictures we have:
Glass Carboys of varying sizes: $10 each
4 Gallon Plastic Water Carboys: $2 each
3 gallon buckets with lids used for grain storage: $2 each
1 gallon glass jugs: $3 each
I also have 2 boxes with styrofoam inserts design to transport 12 x 750 ml bottles, I used them to get some bottles back from San Diego last time I went. 5$ each.
Finally free stuff:
I have a couple dozen 500ml brown PET bottles and about 4 dozen 1 litre PET bottles. The 500 ml bottles are in decent shape and so are the 1 litre bottles. However when I bought the 1 litre bottles from kijiji the guy said "I didn't clean them and you'll have to soak them". What he meant to say was "I've been storing vinegar in them for some time". It's nasty and I don't want to deal with it. SO the are free for the taking or they're going to the recycle depot.
Also free is this pile of strawberry boxes. There are 48 of the pint boxes and three of the bigger ones that hold 8 pint boxes. We keep them each year to bring back but inevitably forget them and just pay for new ones.

Not sure of the sizes, but they are not 3 gallon, a mix of 5/6/6.5 looks like. You can nose through them and take what you want.mumblecrunch wrote:If you have any 5g carboys I'll take one. If you have any 3g carboys I'll take one.

I'll take a 5g glass carboy if you've still got one.

Sure thing, the shippers are gone and I'm holding 4 of the Gallon Jugs for Ghislain. So there are 3 glass jugs, 4 carboys and a plethora of buckets up for grabs.
I'm open tomorrow from 6-10 so come on by (I'll be open Saturday too)

Do you mind holding onto those jugs until the grain pick up or are you in a hurry to get them out of the house?

I can hold them. I might not be at the grain pickup, but all store orders and other goods will be there for sure.GDoucet wrote:Do you mind holding onto those jugs until the grain pick up or are you in a hurry to get them out of the house?

I'll come by on Saturday and pick up the 500mL bottles and a couple of buckets...plus, I will probably order bag of grain. Cheers!

Dave, we'd take those berry boxes off your hands if they're still kicking around. It's just about berry-picking season! Probably won't be in before grain pick-up day, though.
