WTB Grain Mill
Anyone with an old Carona style (or other cheap) grain mill kicking around that they are not using and looking to get rid of? I will be in Moncton late this week and Halifax later next week so can pick it up if you are located in between either of those places and PEI.

Brewnoser may have had one at the last monthly meeting. Pretty sure Dave is selling Corona style as well.denislemieux wrote:Anyone with an old Carona style (or other cheap) grain mill kicking around that they are not using and looking to get rid of? Yeah I an getting a bunch of other stuff from Dave next week, and the stuff I want was getting expensive for a single order. Thought I would try to find a used mill to make things a tad cheaper. If I can't find one I will just order it from Dave as well.

It will be on my list of things too, but no rush since I'm buying the kits off him and not large orders of grain.

There's one at the pawn shop in New Glasgow for 25

I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

$25 would be perfect, unfortunately I am never near new glasgow to get it. Oh well, I don't mind giving Dave the money instead, just trying to be cheap and save a bit lol

You probably know already, but Dave will mill your grain for you, free of charge, if you are buying it from him.denislemieux wrote:Yeah I an getting a bunch of other stuff from Dave next week, and the stuff I want was getting expensive for a single order. Yeah I know, but with the group buy coming in I will need something more accessible, plus the last batch of grain I got from him I forgot to select milling. Used the blender which actually got me fairly good efficiency. but was a huge pain in the ass....and ended up with a lot of trub at the bottom of the kettle.
Speaking of which, I am in need of a better BIAB....so will need to send one of those PM's myself....or just order on their website.
