Favour to Ask

Post by redoubt » Fri Jan 10, 2014 9:27 pm

So there are some stubby bottles for sale on kijiji in Brookfield (near Truro). I love stubbies, but won't be anywhere near Truro in the near future. I was wondering if anyone would pick them up for me if they're in the area. A "finders fee" of a couple homebrews will be provided. :)

Sidenote, if anyone ever wants to get rid of stubbies, let me know.

I got rid of the ones I had a few years ago. They were this kind http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/storm-brew ... -red/9020/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
Too bad, I could have given them to Chalmers and he could have muled them back for you.

I could probably get my wife to snag them or I could make the drive (40 minutes) or be up there for work at some point. I also have a neighbour that I'm quite sure works for a trucking company based out of Mount Pearl, NFLD.

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

All well and good, but the ones I had are long gone. I think Keely was talking about bottles a little closer to her. ;)

I've got a mix of crown cap bottles you are welcome to. I've just been saving them incase someone wants them. I'm pretty sure I have enough bottles for a batch. all various sizes.

Ack, Tony, those are beautiful little stubbies! Too bad they're long gone!

Keely I just sent the guy an email. I'm in Truro and my folks are in the valley so I may be able to shuttle them down to you. I'll let you know.

I'll be picking these up tomorrow. He said he had Grolsh bottles as well. Are you buying those too? And am I paying him or are you?
