Just got back and having some of Jeff’s APA…well…it’s VERY hoppy and VERY nice. No reservations. Fucking awesome. Kathleen and I love it. First drink on New Years Eve, and it looks like it’s going to be a good year already. I bought an extra couple of growlers as gifts, but Kathleen says we may need to hang on to them. I can proudly wear my new T-shirt now. We got married on New Years day, so it’s a double celebration for us at midnight.

Cheers Jeff. Happy New Year to you, and to everyone else. Good luck with your venture. It isn’t every day someone opens up a new brewery. I'm excited any way. :rockin:

:rockin:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

God knows why I hate getting my picture taken. I look like I'm big enough to burn diesel.
Thanks for the update Mark!

Absolutely! LOVE the hoppiness of this beer. Keely's no hop head and wasn't too keen on all the hop bitterness (she'll learn ;)) but loved the flavours in this beer. Nice beer all 'round. Bar none my favourite local brew.

What a great first for-the-public beer, Jeff! So exciting that you're open for business! Woot woot!
