So a buddy of mine gave me 2 of what I believe are "Golden Gate" style kegs. Pretty sure he had em since the 80's. They're in rough shape and I don't have any use for them, free to a good home. Mayb they'd be good for cask conditioning?
They have 3 ports, one of which appears to be a wooden plug.
I need them gone soon though (next day or 2), I'm in Dartmouth near the mic mac, and around most evenings.

Anyone know if the metal scrap places will take them (or are kegs taboo)? They're moosehead kegs and they don't want them (no surprise I guess).

Recycle places will take them. Weigh them first and call ahead to see what they will pay per lb.
