I wouldn't want to buy the bitch at the butcher.
40oz of pure tastiness.
Epic Botatoes and assypargus. I loved the flamage too.
Thanks again for the lesson on cooking.

Nice, that's a sweet win!!! What's lobster prices like down your way? I purchased mine from a family run lobster market in Lorneville and cooked they were $6 per pound.LeafMan66_67 wrote:Shane - send the lobster rolls this way! They look great! $6.99 at Sobeys last night, but likely going for less from the fishermen selling in town on their own.

$5 or $6/lb from fishermen along the side of road or parking lots in Lower Sackville.

I like pan fried chili with pineapple in it. I agree the sweetness goes good in chili.

a late addition of pineapple would be good, caramalize it first with some brown sugar.

Re: The Official What's Cooking Thread [Food Porn]
I made pulled pork Fajitas tonight. I was up at 5:00am and put the Boston Butt on the Kamado and smoked it low and slow on Cherry wood for almost 8 hours. I then shredded the meat, put it in my crock pot for 4 hours and combined it with Salsa, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce, cumin, chilli powder, onions, and green & red peppers.
They turned out freakin' awesome and the wife LOVED it. I've got a crap load of leftovers, if anyone wants to stop by!

Re: The Official What's Cooking Thread [Food Porn]
I just got a BBQ Guru DX2 and tried it out last night for the first time. We brined the pork shoulder for about 4 days in a beer brine from the Homebrewed Chef. Then dried/rinsed and used a spicy rub for 24 hours. Started smoking last night at 4am at 100C with oak, cherry and grape vines. Pulled it off when the pork hit 93C tonight at 9pm. 17hrs was longer than I expected... but well worth the wait! Used a sauce x-man linked to on here somewhere (but subbed in beer for water), topped with homemade coleslaw, guac, and a bit of rice.
