i need a hole in my brew pot

Post by VoDeM » Sun Oct 20, 2013 5:03 pm

I was happy to learn that Noble Grape stocks weldless ball valves for brew pots. The issue now is making the hole. I have an aluminum pot and honestly can't justify buying a step bit (that costs more than the pot) for the sake of making one hole.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help drill me a new one. :D

I'd check with Dave also.

Not sure what NG's prices are like. He may even be able to help you get the hole drilled.

I have the step drill and will gladly (and for free) drill out your pot. Just let me know or swing by during business hours.

Thanks

Dave

I have a drill that will get you most of the way there and a dremmel to finish the hole.

Dave's offer is better but I'm closer.

Let me know.

Sandy

Hi Sandy and Dave,

Your offers are very generous and I appreciate them.

Dave, I assume you have weldless ball valves in stock. Given your willingness to drill the hole in my pot, I'd prefer to make my purchase from your shop. I'll call ahead when I plan on dropping by.

thanks again
Yvon
