Free Magnum hops are gone

Post by mr x » Wed Jun 15, 2011 2:38 pm

I've got a slab of my own magnum from last year to give away. They were frozen 'wet' and have an amazing aroma. Cracked them open today, but can't find my dry-hop bag, so they aren't much use to me, and aren't going to last long now that they are opened. Come and get them. Probably 1/2 lb wet.

I'll take them (or at least some of them). Are you back in HFX yet?

I only have two wheels at the moment, so I'll wait to see if the rain dies down before coming over.

What do you guys use for hop bags? Online sources or local sources (like a paint strainer or something)?

I've used old nylons, paint strainers, jelly strainers, proper keg bags, basically anything wherever I could find them

Kyle isn't here yet, lol.

But seriously, I have no idea what the AA is if you're using them for bittering, but I'll save half for you if you like.

Do you want me to come over now and interrupt the game? I'm happy to share and can come by tomorrow.

I bought a hop bag with the first NCM order... but X is right, it's just a fancy nylon bag.

The one that I'm missing is the long skinny one, which I really wanted to try, and which really pisses me off...
