Looking for kettle

Post by Two Wheeler » Sun Jun 09, 2013 10:44 pm

Hi all, looking to move to AG and full boils. Wondering if anyone around Fredericton (+/- 100kms) had a SS kettle that they were looking at selling. Thanks!

You might want to check out Ontario Beer Kegs website (link in Vendor section of forum). They sell some nice SS brewpots at reasonable prices. The 15 gallon pot seem quite popular and versatile.

I think Everwood Ave Brew Shop is about to start selling kettles out of HRM as well - check vendor links.

This is correct! They land tomorrow morning and will be trickling up onto the website through the week

I'll have:

7.5 gallon SS pots
20 gallon SS pots - (Limited Supply)
9 gallon SS pots with 2 bulkheads
15 gallon SS pots with 2 bulkheads
19 gallon SS pots with 2 bulkheads - (Limited Supply)

Plus all of the accessories: ball valves, thermometers, sight glasses, false bottoms, screens, dip-tubes, etc...

Thanks

Dave

Dave

Does the 20 gal pot have ports?

I'll take one.

No it doesn't have ports, just a straight 20 gallon pot.

I'll hold one for you if you're still interested.

Thanks

Are they similar build to the 15gal pots we're accustomed to? I've been considering switching my current boil kettle to a MLT that I can direct fire.

Interested in details/prices as well. Will keep an eye on the website (nothing there yet). Likely pulling the trigger on a 19 gallon (or possibly 20 gallon w/ no fittings) soon.

I'll take one. I am assuming its reasonably heavy construction.

The side wall is 0.8 mm thick. The heavy duty pots are 1.2 mm for comparison. Feels sturdy enough to me, but you can stop by and take a look at it. I'll hold one for you until you decide, no rush, just let me know.

Thanks

How many 20 Gal Pots do you have that are not spoken for?

Hey Trevor,

Well, as it stands I have one available and Sandy has dibs. If he passes then it's yours.

I'll definitely be bringing more of these in when I order next. If things go well then that should be early fall or late summer. Thanks
