Going to put it together this afternoon hopefully and get the burn in looked after. I've got a slab of side ribs in the fridge that'll go on for the maiden voyage tomorrow.

So who actually has one of these now? I'm thinking we are probably one of the largest communities for the Vision Kamado

It's true... I'm also strongly considering buying one next year. My small big green egg is awesome, but just too small a lot of the time.

Doing the initial burn on it now. Planning to toss some potatoes on later and then throwing a t-bone on after that.

It may be a tight squeeze. I had to lay down the back seats in my Forester to get it to fit.mr x wrote:Nice! Hopefully l will squeeze one in the Mazda next weekend.

I had to borrow a friend and his truck to get mine. A small sedan just didn't cut it. I grabbed the last one in Halifax yesterday, although the floor model is there.
Did a burn-in and then some chicken this afternoon. It was pretty awesome!
Now I'm starting in on charcoal research...

Doing my first low and slow cook today in the first tropical storm of the season.
Getting pretty good gusts of wind here and the Kamado is holding temp like a champ!
