As a quick word of warning to anyone who may be interested in these. Danby changed the design at some point and the door panel no longer just unscrews, it is molded/spray foamed in place so you have to cut it apart (not a big deal, but slightly less clean looking)

Does it still have room left with your ball locks inside? I need one that will fit two pinlocks.

I doubt it. I've been meaning to have a closer look though as I'm interested in some of the 2.5gal kegs OBK has, and they're also 9" diameter.Jimmy M wrote:Does it still have room left with your ball locks inside? I need one that will fit two pinlocks.

Mine is pretty tight with the 2 ball lock kegs, not sure if you'd fit 2 pin lock. Maybe if they were offset a bit instead of directly side-by-side.Jimmy M wrote:Does it still have room left with your ball locks inside? I need one that will fit two pinlocks.

Yeah, Kenmore Elite. That's probably bigger than you need though.Jimmy M wrote:Jimmy wrote:Mine is pretty tight with the 2 ball lock kegs, not sure if you'd fit 2 pin lock. Re: Danby 4.4cu ft SS @ Costco
Just picked one up today at the Dartmouth Cost-co, they have 13 left at $125. I bought the same one about a year ago for $160. It is true about the door as it is adhered on pretty good, with the old model I was able to unscrew the inside door plastic and replace with cardboard. Any suggestions on how to cleanly remove the necessary plastic without making a huge mess? I am thinking of using a dremel tool with a cutting wheel and then taping the exposed area, it will probably still look like a happy harry special.

Re: Danby 4.4cu ft SS @ Costco
That's what I did. On the old style I was able to unscrew the door and replaced it with an old whiteboard, was nice for writing stuff on. I intended to clean this one up somehow but I doubt I'll bother now.
I used one of those multi-tools which was very easy, dremel would work but probably be painful.

Costco online is almost always more as the price includes shipping. It is defiantly $159-$30 in store.

What's the smallest size shanks that you can use with this?

Not a hell of a lot of room for shanks with the two ball lock kegs in place.mr x wrote:Definitely. Have the fridge and gear, just need time to uncrate the fridge.

I've got shanks in the mini fridge I bought from CT. It's tight, but it goes.
