So let's get a roll-call of who's coming and if you're brewing. So far the only confirmed brewers are me and chalmers as far as I can tell. If that's it, that's cool, but you're more than welcome to lug your gear along and brew.

Any food requests? I have a ghetto smoker that I haven't had much success with, but if someone wants to give it a go I'll pick up a slab of meat.

Unfortunately, I'll be out of HFX. Sounds like a fun day!

Ahhh, why not. Tim, is there any chance I can use your immersion chiller? If so, I'll brew something too. Can't do a double with my equipment though.
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa
Conditioning:
Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

A few coolers and some ice wouldn't hurt, depending on how many blondes we have. My beer fridge is pretty full.

I've got 2 chillers, so you're good Cornelius.

I think Gavin and I are planning to drop by for a short while. Definitely not brewing, no blond left to bring.

You could bring other beer to share (that goes for other folks, too)!

i'll be heading out early and brewing a BIAB batch (but maybe not such a good role model for new brewers, as i haven't actually done that method in 3 years!). i'll have some munchies of some sort or other with me, likely unassembled when i arrive though. Is there anything specific I should bring?

Is anyone driving over from Halifax? My schedule opened up so I'm keen to go for a bit. I live near North & Robie.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Yeah thanks Tim n Chris for making it happen, and yeah berley those beer were great, especially the raspberry one! 600g raspberry in 2 gallons of beer or something? Great pink colour, strong raspberry aroma and slight tang like a tart raspberry in the flavour. Great

Thank you for hosting! It was a great sunny afternoon to sit back, relax, and have a few homebrew. I loved the belgian stout, but a couple of the blondes were tasty too.

Anytime! Wish I could have been there, instead of sitting in a dead pharmacy, watching... better than nothing, though!

I liked the parts where you lost your hand hair, the dog got too close to the burner, the boilover, etc.

Glad you enjoyed it! I was telling Chris that when I first tried it a few months ago, it tasted/smelled like cough syrup to me, but it seems to have come around. I'm about ready to bottle a Berliner Weisse that I've had in secondary for 6 months; thinking of putting a couple of gallons of it on cherries now, to continue the experiment...
