Hello from Shediac
Thought I would say hello! Just bought my first homebrew kit and would eventually like to try an all grain brew sometime! Anyways I enjoy reading about other people's experiences and it would be great to connect with other local brewers to learn some tips and tricks! I have my first try in the fermenter right now, hopefully it's going to be allright!

Re: Hello from Shediac

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

We'll forgive the forum name, lol. As I always ask, how did you find the site?
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Hahaha yeah, that handle has been assigned a long time ago when I had yet to discover Microbrews, and you know, people are creatures of habit so I didn't feel like changing it even though I did think about it
I found the site through the Canadian Homebrewers forum.

Welcome aboard!
There's a solid group of folks in Moncton, so be sure to say hi. I think they're getting together next Friday at Marky's Laundromat for a pint.
