Garrison Growlito
Has anyone grabbed a Garrison Gowlito? My friend had one one the weekend. I'm sure some will at least be pleased they are not calling it a growler. Looks like a medicine bottle.

Is it glass or plastic?
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Propeller's new 1L flip tops don't have handles either ... don't see the issue.Fishdisease wrote:No handle? No Good.

You may when the weather heats up and those things start to sweat in your hands while carrying them. At least with propeller you can hang onto the flip top cage.LeafMan66_67 wrote:Propeller's new 1L flip tops don't have handles either ... don't see the issue.Fishdisease wrote:No handle? No Good.

Beyond the Pale in Ottawa has been using these exact same things since they opened 5-6 months ago.

I picked one up yesterday and think its a pretty neat bottle, I don't think not having a handle will be an issue its not overly large in circumference.
