Looking to trade hop rhizomes
I have a Hallertauer plant that will likely produce many rhizomes this spring. I am hoping to trade for other varieties. Let me know if you are interested, and what you are growing.

Hey i am interested in some trades. I have a huge mother of a cascade at my folks, and my friend is getting me to help with dividing up many varieties growing on his farm in the valley in a few weeks, or as soon as its safe to do so.OldMalt wrote:I have a Hallertauer plant that will likely produce many rhizomes this spring. Great, if you and your friend want help at the farm with the hops I'm fairly handy and love an excuse to go to valley. Ground is thawing and me thinks it won't be long before I can dig out some rhizomes.

Re: Looking to trade hop rhizomes
I'm looking to grow some plants this year and am trying to get my hands on some rhizomes to purchase.
I don't have anything to trade but certainly would be willing to take a trip out to the valley to help out with anything when it comes time to dig!
If not interested in selling, please let me know if you know where I might purchase some locally.
Thanks

Re: Looking to trade hop rhizomes
For those that are looking to purchase rhizomes locally, there is a hop farm in the Belleisle area that is now taking orders for rhizomes.

If you'll take an IOU my willamette will likely be ready for rhizome harvesting next year.OldMalt wrote:I have a Hallertauer plant that will likely produce many rhizomes this spring. I am hoping to trade for other varieties. Let me know if you are interested, and what you are growing.

Certainly Kyle, I'll let you know when rhizomes are ready. Laurel, I'll likely have enough to give you one or two.KMcK wrote:If you'll take an IOU my willamette will likely be ready for rhizome harvesting next year.
