Beersmith Water Profile

Post by bluenose » Fri Jan 25, 2013 10:04 pm

Does anyone bother putting their water profile into beersmith?

What goes under the box "HCO3"? Google says it's a bicarbonate, but nothing like that shows up on the profile I had done.

So should I take the alkalinity line = 85 / 50 * 61 = 103.7?

Yup. I have the same Farm water test. After some research and cals that is the correct way to find HC03 from CaCO3. But I'm Drunk after brewing 400L and may be be incorrect!
