I have a keg of Jamil's APA that I am planning on cracking soon. It is good, but thinking about knocking it up a touch with some dry hops. I have lots of cascade, centennial, and warrior on had. I have another keg of a different APA that i will also be serving that I have DHed with a cent/cascade mix. Since I'd like some variety, and am also just interested in experimenting, I was thinking of throwing in some warrior, perhaps mixed with cascade or cent. I have found very little on the Internet that supports this plan! Does anyone have person experience (or thoughts)?

Re: Warrior Dry Hop
I've never used Warriror to dry hop, but I see JohnnyMac is doing it in his yesterday IPA. My thinking is there is only 1 way to find out

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Warrior Dry Hop
Never used warrior as dry hops (I'm sure that'll change), so I never posted.
The way I look at it , stick your nose in the bag, take a big whiff & if you like what you're getting throw some in.

Re: Warrior Dry Hop
I've used warrior as a dry hop, but it was always in a blend with other hops. IIRC, DFH 90 uses warrior as a DH.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
