Re: Post your kegerator/bar
Thanks Jmac!
I've got a Coors Light fridge that I won at the NSLC... I'd like to use this as a kegerator but the freezer has to go and the coolant line makes a weird 90 degree turn and I doubt I could bend the cooling tray without snapping it...

(yes I know I'm getting LOW on brew...)
Any Ideas on what I can do? My Keg doesn't fit with the freezer... I'm thinking about selling the Coor's light fridge and buying a fridge with no freezer...
PS:
Is this a 10 pounder?

Lots of numbers on the tank nothing that really says it's size...

Re: Post your kegerator/bar
There's normally some DOT/TC markings, PSI markings, and hydrostatic testing markings.
The hydro markings get added over the years as the tank needs re-testing..they normally follow a 7 digit scheme XX-YYY-ZZ. XX=Month, YYY=Code for the facility, doing the test, ZZ=Year.

And after a closer look, it looks like it may be bigger than a 5lb tank..not sure what size though.BenFrank wrote:I thought it looked bigger than that.

Re: Post your kegerator/bar
post some of the numbers/markings that are stamped on the shoulder of the tank. Usually it'll say something like #20, #10 etc for the tank size...or something similar.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Re: Post your kegerator/bar
AARRGH!!! Beer line was froze up this morn! I just stuck it behind the kegs to keep things tidy, but guess it was up against the cooling panel. No harm done tho..simply coil them on top o the kegs.
Next project-cover up the ferm fridge & the tank with a cabinet(and maybe a few more taps!)
