The Stogies Pale Ale

Post by sleepyjamie » Sat Aug 11, 2012 4:52 pm

Getting married in October and I am making a batch of beer for the fiance's brothers band. aka "the stogies". As typical these guys drink Dry Ice, Keiths, Moosehead... However they never turn down beer so I was thinking of making them something that is decent, not too bitter and drinkable.

I might sub the bittering hop with something more clean such as northern brewer.

You could always cut the Columbus in half if you want to lower the IBUs. A buddy of mine had some last night and loved it, and he's a Coors light drinker.
