Dry hop combinations
I'm messing around with dry hop combinations for my house Pale Ale. Wondering if anyone has used a Galaxy/Nelson Sauvin combo before for dry hopping? The current incarnation of this beer is all Columbus hops, and I think the Galaxy would go really well, just not sure about the Nelson Sauvin, but I really enjoy the white wine character it lends.

Re: Dry hop combinations
Ive used galaxy/nelson sauvin for dry hopping in my IPA. Both of them together is really nice. Galaxy offered a big tangerine kinda taste which I liked with the wine flavour from NS. Not sure how they would lend to the Columbus. Galaxy also has a huge aroma which was intense.jeffsmith wrote:I'm messing around with dry hop combinations for my house Pale Ale. I've used Galaxy on it's own for dry hopping before in a IIPA and really enjoyed it. It's got a bit of a dank character that I think would go really well with Columbus.

I've never used either one, but I've had the IPA sleepyjamie made. I really liked it, I tasted some mango in there as well.
