Commercial Keg Serving Supplies

Post by thirdeye » Mon Jul 02, 2012 10:20 pm

Hey guys, I got a friend gutting the basement of an old bar and he has tonnes of commercial keg service equipment. I can get inline regulators, sanke connections, c02 tanks and 50/58L kegs. If anyone is interested he'll do a deal, but as is he's just looking to make a little extra cash and move 'em quick. So any interest out there? I'm going to visit the place tomorrow and hopefully take a few picks of what he has.

edit: I should mention that this gear is located in Moncton.

I am interested in a couple (two) 58 litre kegs. but I can only participate if someone else from halifax is going to be picking stuff up and doesn't mind transporting them and holding onto them for 3 or 4 days so I can organize a brew buddy to pick em up for me. If that happens, I'd love two!
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa
Conditioning:
Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

Definitely interested in a 58L keg. I should be able to get up to pick one up just about any time.

Also in for a 58L if there are that many. Available pretty much anytime outside 9-5:30 any day.

CO2 tanks and regulators wanted here!

And with my frequent travel schedule, could be a mule back and forth.

I would be in for a 58L keg or two for sure. I can't drive out there immediately either but perhaps in two weeks I could make my way in that direction.

So here are a few photos from a grab bag my buddy gave me a couple days ago:
unkown_cleaning_gear.png
Anyone know what this is?
sanke_couplers.png
Lots of crusty, but otherwise good seals, sanke couplers
regulators.png
just a small selection of the regulators

He says he has a lot more, going to stop by this afternoon and hope my flash works in the basement :)

Price dependent, I'm interested in a CO2 tank and a 58 litre keg or two. Thanks!

Pretty sure those are flowmeters for the pop (from the balls), or a way to check the fill level. They also have a purge button. Maybe to make it easy to switch from one keg to another? Or clean the lines?

Those are the FOB foam things IIRC, not much use at home.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Ooh! Shiny!

I'd love one of those regs. I'm getting sick of dialing up the pressure to make 500ml of soda for Marta, and then dialing it back for my keg. I looked at them on a couple of US sites but shipping is more than the cost of the regulator.
Currently on tap: Nothing!
In keg: Still nothing.
In Primary: Doggone American Rye Pale Ale

Those are indeed fobs, useless for home unless you have some long tap lines.

Hello thirdeye...Thanks for the offer...I would be interested in a 20 lb co2 tank but looks like a long line ahead of me on that...Does he happen to have and beer towers or taps suitable for putting on top of a bar or a drip tray or 2.
Thanks...Fever

That's a good point, if there's a tower I'd be interested in that too!

Ok so big misunderstanding on my part. Since he's not sure what exactly he'll need he's only selling what he definitely doesn't need. So any kegs, tanks or towers won't be available for another 2 months minimum. He does have some sanke and perlick connectors as well as a few regulators still for sale, but that's it for now.Sorry for the confusion?

are the perlick connectors straight shanks or elbow shanks (90degrees)? if they are in fact the elbow shanks for use in standard chrome towers I'm interested
