I would be interested in the 5gal. I was just trying to figure out how to ship my wort down for this. I can probably come out and help you brew and bring grain/hops, depending on when it is.
I could likly house you and feed you too.

The barrel is in hand!

It's in great shape so looks like we'll be in good shape when we pull everything together.

As Dr. X said, we'll start pulling the list of participants together and start working on a style and base recipe. We also need to find a future resting place for the barrel - Nick?

In the meantime, I'm going to stash it at Prime until we get things figured out so whoever's there on Saturday can have a closer look.

Thanks Nick for making a home for the barrel. It's entirely up to you when you want to take it home. I don't think there is a super sense of urgency at this point based on the stage we are at but if Saturday is the best for you then I can take it from Prime to the Lions head.

Alternatively, I could always through it in the back of the truck and run it out to your place some day down the road......

I could store it here as well, but it's probably not nearly as convenient.

It's stashed at Prime now and can stay there until we're ready to fill it. So, no urgency to get it out of there but we can go with whatever's convenient.

I think the immediate goal is to get a recipe down and brewed. Probably one month lead time needed for me to have a finished product.

Ok then, let's work out a recipe first. Maybe we can build a stand too.

Just in case people don't normally browse the Aleanders' Event section, I'm trying to recruit 6-8 people for the The PEI Double-Barrel Project.
