Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
Here's an update on the gear status.....
Embriodery logo is finalized and proof approved. (Thanks Jeff) Order is underway, may be ready next week.
There are some color selection and detail concerns with the logo for screen printing which applies to the t-shirts and pull over hoodies. The pricing and setup is based on 4 colors as shown in the attached proof for the printer with the blue background. This limits how much detail can be retained from the original logo the Jeff has put a lot of work into. There are some concerns with details in this proof but one main issue is the white and grey became combined thus eliminating the distinct white head on the beer.
Adding a 5th color to the printing will give Jeff some flexibility to refine the logo while retaining important details with an extra cost of about $1.25 per item.
T-shirts (s-xl)
4-color: $10.72
5-color $12.00
Pullover hoodies
4-color: $29.24
5-color: $30.51
Does anyone have a problem with this?
As soon as we sort this out we'ready to roll. The clothing sized and colors are in and ready for printing. Once we sort this out it'll probably be ready within a week.
Also keep in mind repeat orders will be as easy as a phone call once we're fully setup.
Finally, Glassware is at 50% of the minimum order. That's still a lot to hold in inventory in terms of tied up cash and space. We need to work on this a bit.

I don't have an issue with this, and I wouldn't wait on $1.25. Pull the trigger, and if anybody has issues, I'll refund them the $1.25 out of the fund.

Re: Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
It's already lost some detail by losing one of the oranges. Losing the grey isn't a big deal now.

Re: Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
5 colours it is. Below is the logo that will be sent off to the printers. It would have been nice had we been able to keep all the detail of the original logo, but not much we can do. I think this is a good compromise.

A bit late starting them, but you should be OK.
1.25 isn't an issue.

Re: Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
I stopped by the shop yesterday to confirm the color matching with the screen print ink. All looks good! Printing of hats and t-shirts should be ready early next week now everything is confirmed.
Embroidery is complete with the exception of one hat that didn't make it in the first supplier order but is expected in next week.
Here's a teaser of a couple items, apologies on the crappy BB pic:
Once everything is ready to go I'll pick up the lot and setup a plan for distribution and payment.
It will be awesome to have an army of 'uniformed' brewnosers at the beerfest in august!

Re: Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
That looks really good, but what is with the separation between the outline and the glass on the white shirt?

Yeah, that's kinda wonkey..the bulging beer glassmr x wrote:That looks really good, but what is with the separation between the outline and the glass on the white shirt?

It's weird that they can't get the orange of the beer to fill in all the way down to the black line on the bottom of the glass either.
Either way, glad the gear is coming. Hoodies and t-shirts next week?

Re: Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
That's actually the way the design is supposed to be. There's supposed to be some grayish colour at the bottom and around the sides. Same as the logo at the top of the site.Jimmy wrote: It's weird that they can't get the orange of the beer to fill in all the way down to the black line on the bottom of the glass either.

Re: Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
I see that now. I guess it's just that it isn't uniform on the sides vs bottom that made it stand out to me.jeffsmith wrote:That's actually the way the design is supposed to be. Re: Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
It looks to me like the hat fabric was stretched when they stitched it. No matter.

Re: Brewnosers Gear Update & Question
That's actually your white toque X. Where there is so much stitching in a small area in the hop cone I'd say it tightened that area in. I suspect it'll look fine with the wearable rounded contour opposed to laid out flat.mr x wrote:It looks to me like the hat fabric was stretched when they stitched it. No matter.
