Cleaning chrome keg taps

Post by CorneliusAlphonse » Sun May 06, 2012 9:07 pm

What cleaner is best for cleaning keg taps? I picked up a couple for free from a friend, now I need to give em a nice deep clean before getting them set up. I was thinking oxiclean, but had concerns about using it on chrome and brass? I've only ever used it on stainless before.

advice appreciated
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa

Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

I like caustic (preferably hot). IIRC, Beer Line Cleaner is caustic.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
