Keezer thermostat??

Hey can anyone tell me if a freezer with a thermostat buit in also needs an external stat??does the built in one not work as well ?.. For a keezer thanks

most need an external temp controller yes. On the off chance that your's doesn't, you can take a look at this thread and see if it can help.

It's not that the freezer stat does not work as well, it works fine, but the range is wrong. It either needs to be modified or bypassed with an external controller - Johnson, Ranco, Aquarium controller, etc...
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
