I seem to remember somebody saying that it was closed today, but I could be wrong. Wouldn't mind trying the BNIPA later if they are open.

Ginger Wheat Firkin was very good. Still lots left for the evening crowd, the bar was pretty empty during our 3 hour visit. Had 6 Brewnosers there, though, plus TJ was there with family right at noon, I think.
BPA was tasting great as well. More banana than I would have expected from this yeast, but it's right up my alley.

I was there right at noon! Had the family in from Ontario and NB. They wantedsome food and to try some local beers. Hit up Garrison, Rockbottom, Hart and Thistle. Did not get to try the Firkin, but the BPA was quite tasty.

A few of us will hit up the RB tonight around 6 or so.

Also, we'll be doing the NHL Hockey Pool Draw (from http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewto ... f=7&t=2126" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) then. Sign up in that thread if you are interested. Random draw, but it gives you a team to root for if your team didn't make the playoffs.

I am getting tired of bars with crappy WiFi. I'd go and work in this place if I knew I could get online. What I do sometimes REQUIRES beer, but I'm not going until I know it is working.

For now, I'm going to Second Cup, making sure I can get on, then heading upstairs to Rogues Roost.

But seriously, Rock Bottom says they have Wifi and I am 2 for 5 with it working, and no one there with a clue as to how to make it work.

Hart and Thistle used to be awful too, but of late it is much better, so I will also be going there this summer.

But as for working afternoons, no RB until I hear better.

I hear you. I've had no trouble at all at H&T but RB has been about the same to me.
