Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
A Ballcap row has been added. Black hat with adjustable velcro back.
I'll have a bunch of blank samples next week that I'll bring along to the gala on the 22nd and the grain pickup on the 24th.
I'm still checking into pricing for glassware; stemmed, non-stemmed and 64oz amber growlers. Minimum quantities for each are probably around 72 units. Once I get pricing we can decide based on interest.

I'll be getting a hat from lids. Anyone else plan on doing the same? I wouldn't mind splitting the initial cost of getting the logo digitized.

If I get a hat, it'll be this way.
Know1, will they do stitching on our own hats, or do you have to purchase their hat?

I'd be up for that. I'll be getting a hat from Lids as well.Jimmy wrote:I'll be getting a hat from lids. Anyone else plan on doing the same? I wouldn't mind splitting the initial cost of getting the logo digitized.
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
So I just got off the phone with Lids, and they *may* be a better option for the hats. Here's the breakdown of how it works (as closely as I can remember)
-$50 to digitize logo (1 time fee)
-If we do 36 or more hats, the digitizing fee is waived
-If we do 12 or more hats, the embroidery is free (only pay for the price of the hat itself)
-The hats can be any of their blank hats (beanies, ball caps, flex fits etc)
-Hats can be done on a per hat basis (ie: walk in and pay for your own, whenever you want, without an extra setup fee)
-If the $50 fee is paid upfront due to lack of #'s, it can be refunded once the 36 is reached.
Here is a link to the blank hats they offer (most selections when clicked on, offer a variety of colors)
http://www.lids.ca/Blanks" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What do you guys think about this?

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
I'd definitely be in for the Lids deal as well, though I'm guessing it'd all need to be done at the same location? i.e. I wouldn't be able to walk into the Moncton store and have it done? Wasn't sure if they shared data between the stores.

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
we can get different hats from my supplier. I'll send a catalogue link when I get home and you van tell me what you want. They have full back flex fit, S/M L/XL for around $11 base price. If we combine all the embroidery the digitizing setup is spread thinner.
Let me know what your looking at for style and pricing at lids and we'll compare.

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
For me it's more a matter of actually trying the hat on. I might see 10 hats at lids that I like, but after trying them on, would only like 1 or 2.know1 wrote:we can get different hats from my supplier. I'm cool with whatever everyone decides.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
I just heard back from lids, and apparently the digitized logo can be shared between the various lids locations at no extra charge. This would help our members outside of the Halifax area.

Re: Brewnoser's Clothing Order Sheet
I think that would be the route I'd prefer. The FlexFit brand hats are definitely my preference, it's all I buy.Jimmy wrote:I just heard back from lids, and apparently the digitized logo can be shared between the various lids locations at no extra charge.
