Light in body and colour but rich in flavour.
This sounds doable and unique in town.

No I can't do much with it other than ferment, maybe something on a different yeast, or use it to make a starter or add spices or coffee etc :cheers2:

Can't remember seeing and American Style Pilsner
5 Gallon recipe would look something simple like:
8lb Six row barley
2-3 lb flaked maize
1.5 oz Cluster hops
Wyeast 1332 Northwest Ale
OG: 1.05
FG: 1.015

Just a thought...
On Tap "in bottles": winter beer (spiced beer, nutmeg, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, cloves)
In Secondary:
In Primary: winter beer (spiced beer, nutmeg, cinnamon, star anise, ginger, cloves)

While sipping my favorite smoothy this morning, I thought that mango would make a nice flavor addition to a wit or wizen for a refreshing summer brew. :mmm: It should also complement the banana/clove yeast flavor as well. How to use it as an additive, I have no clue.

I just tried making a mango IPA - not bad, the Mango is fairly subtle (could have probably put twice as much in it). It would be neat to try in a wit

Oh, the joys of dragging 800 lb of spent grain up a flight of stairs!
Besides that, the day was great! Look for Nash's secret recipes on eBay shortly. ;)

Yes, sorry about that!! I sprayed the poor guy, he was just coming in to say hi. Thankfully, just a bit of cool rinse water.

It's time to start planning for the next one! Huge thanks to RobD on this current WIPA, it's turned out to be a fantastic beer :cheers2:

A collaboration brew to me is something unique, fun and or experimental. Two heads are better than one they say. The Collaboration Series isn't so you can come brew for a day, we can do that any time, it's to create something special. I can and do brew weizens, pale ales et al all by myself, and they're good. I have a bit of a reputation or signature for hop-bombs from pale ales, black IPAs through DIPAs and TIPAs as well as Thai-style weizens, ginger beers and porters of all sorts. I'd brew these types of beer when I do a collaboration at another brewery that doesn't, maybe not so much here. Styles I don't normally brew will be considered too though. Hybrids are fun and unique, odd styles, odd ingredients are fun. Since I need to sell the finished product whatever we come up with needs to be delicious, not just something different for the sake of being different. 'Baaah it's awful but it's different'

I guess you can all see where I'm going with this. There's a few decent suggestions in this thread but keep 'em coming. Put the thinking caps on. Start making test brews, get creative, bring me a bottle of your finest. I'm sure some of you have created some tasty beers that are off the beaten path or maybe something that will be when combined with my signature style.

You all have the 'test' systems. w0w me :cheers2:

hey nash,

not sure if you got my pm. but i see you are active in this thread so ill ask you here.

It was regarding having my soccer team come in and drink beer at the Rockbottom. Normally we do a keg party but people's schedules are a pain so I figured a few hours at a pub would suffice. I was wondering what the best night to come? Preferably during happy hour or something. It likely would be for 15 people, should I make a reservations? thoughts?

cheers!

Jamie
