Hello!
Hey folks,
A Chicago native here new to Canada, PEI & homebrewing ... Just moved to Charlottetown a couple of months ago and looking to start up a new hobby brewing my own beer. Stumbled on this site and seems to be a pretty active community so that's great.
Nice to meet you. Cheers,
-Greg

However I'm finding it quite nice ... except this morning spent 30 minutes shoveling/scraping my car after the ice over the weekend ...

Re: Hello!

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Re: Hello!
quite true. people keep asking me about the difference, assuming it's much worse up here and i keep thinking it's actually pretty mild, though i know this is a bit unusual. i guess the biggest difference is the fact that i'm parking outside whereas i used to have a garage.derek wrote:You're not fooling anybody.
