Haha. David I was light handed this time. The Vic Secret was only 20.1% and it made up for 10 oz of the 1.5 lbs added to a double batch. The brewery smells heavenly. 1 oz FWH and everything else was 10 min left in the boil to flameout with a 30 min hop stand. Just added my 8 oz dry hop.

Brewed four weeks ago, but I bottled my first Belgian dubbel yesterday. Looking forward to tasting it in a few weeks!

Re: What's everyone brewing?
I'm just finishing up a BrewHQ Winter Warmer kit I've tweaked a little bit with some 'Christmas spices'
And on deck I've got a rice lager I'm experimenting with trying out 'forbidden' rice to see if it will give it a darker colour.

Re: What's everyone brewing?
I did one with Boxing Rock. For the homebrew version i used just 1 bag of Kelp (100g maybe?) from the grocery store. I though afterwards it could have used 2.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
