Evening All,
I plan to dry hop my english brown ale, just wanted some feed back on using fuggles or EKG. Both are described as being "earthy" which I like and have very similar AA%, but I have seen fuggles described as "The most revered and famous English hop." As the kit was a partial mash I don't know what hops were used for bittering or finishing.
Cheers!

Re: Fuggles vs EKG
I like fuggles in darker beers, but either one is probably good. Goldings are usually described as being a bit more spicy and floral

I’ve been using equal amounts of both of those in my last few stouts and a porter. I quite like the result.

Re: Fuggles vs EKG
I've been using EKG primarily as a bittering hop and using Fuggles for aroma, 15 minutes or less.

Re: Fuggles vs EKG
I think I may go with 2oz of fuggles for now and the next time try EKG. I keep a brew log so at the very least I get a new entry of what I like more. Thanks for the feedback.
