Premiere Wine and Spirits

Post by mr x » Wed Oct 13, 2010 2:00 pm

Was in today to pick up a few brews. They have been expanding their line-up. Looking forward to trying the Biere de Garde from Brasserie de Saint-Sylvestre.

Eh, it was OK. Too high in alcohol for my liking. Very highly carbonated.

I've had that one, plus a couple of others from the same brewery, and they were similar. OK, but nothing to run out and get.

That is a real Biere de Garde.... Trois Monts/ 3 Monts. Will age.

It might be better aged, but I think I'd prefer this style of beer at the lower end of the ABV spectrum.
