Good Luck Justin. Is anyone else sending to this?

3 out of the 4 brathairs are sending in for this...

Good luck to you as well
Thanks, Maybe I should become a brathair and join forces with you for these events? Is there some sort of initiation ritual? Do I need to wear a funny hat, drink a lot and pledge my allegiance to something? What? Was thinking about becoming a hipster, but it's a poor fit for me. Just checking my options. Dress code? Special hand shakes? Secret meetings? Terrorising local breweries so they provide free beer?

Respectfully yours,

Guinges (pronounced GwynJeez) Rock.

New members have to empty a lot of mash tuns...and your back gets sore
We let Eric in...but he had to be manually adjusted (his back) by Rod.
I think he was stiff...and scared...Fear Boner????

I think it's a different crowd though. Bad boy vs. fancy boy. I keep checking behind me and expecting to be kicked up the ass by a Blundstone boot. There's absolutely nothing wrong with them.

So it's settled then? This new society involves 1) Beer 2) Doc Martins

Anything else?

No beards? That's been done.

Bowler hats and brollies with the Docs?

Name?

Well that's close, but it's more in the line of wanting to start a gang. I thought about a few existing ones ...you mentioned weird, so there's the Hipsters, but not a good fit. Then there's the Brathairs with their Docs, weird also. But I like the Doc Martins and the brewing there, and the humour. These will be a part of the new gang. (Docs optional, but no Blundstones)

I'm not getting much help with the new gang though. I like the idea of terrorizing local breweries (in a friendlyish kind of way), sort of like the Lady's Beer League. We could brew at their breweries etc, and hang out there and drink beer.

Not sure about the bowler hats. Beards might be ok.

Oh, and I thought up a name. Thought maybe something like "Brewnosers." Sort of sounds like a combination of brewers and nosers.

Re: The “Craft Beer Gang” Atlantic Chapter. No Blundstones!

Post by GuingesRock » Sat Nov 21, 2015 8:59 am

I’m going to have to start this gang of thugs on my own. There seems to be little interest here. I’ll have to coerce my good looking spouse (she wore docs when she lived in Montreal) and some less good looking friends, to get this going. Kathleen is also becoming big in the yoga world, and those yoga people like craft beer!

I woke up early before the family this morning and doing some research. Drinking coffee from my new coffee machine. Got it from Paderno after taking the plastic, useless, controlling, Kurig machine outside and pissing on it (just kidding). Trying to sound macho and gang like you know.

Anyone in the gang, and I think the name should be “The Craft Beer Gang” henceforth, should make their coffee in one of these in the mornings. Although a breakfast beer might be the preferred wakeup drink for serious gang members.

I posted some initial suggested activity for the gang here: http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewto ... 57#p135156" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And I have planned my first “brewery attack” for the new year. Hammond River is expecting me LOL.

I also have a scheduled infiltration of Beau’s next summer ;)

I have removed Brathair Brewing from the thread title because they have expressed some embarrassment by association. They have been an inspiration and are welcome to become gang members.

Watch out Hipsters! There's a new force on the horizon. People who know more about beer, and less about being cool.

To be completely honest... I have no fucking idea what this is all about.
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe
