I can trade you a garrison for a granite if you want.

Re: growlers
Doesn't matter what's on the label to me. I only put my own beer in them.

Re: growlers
Can you not use other Brewery's growler's at Granite? Can you use other's growlers at Garrison?
I've never really come into this issue as I too only put my beer in my growlers, but I have several from several different breweries and it would be good to know.

I don't think they will do that.

Re: growlers
Garrison will fill any growler. Granite and Propeller swap each time you go, so they only accept their own, as far as I know.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Re: growlers
I've taken other growlers to Propeller and had them filled. They just swap if it is there own growler.

Granite will take Propeller and do the exchange.

Re: growlers
I prefer to exchange my growlers for pre-filled ones under the hopefully not misguided assumption that they're done better in back (i.e. sterilized, chilled, filled with a beer gun or professional equivalent, and given a new cap) than they are if done by a front counter person filling from a tap.
Granite will take a Propeller growler in exchange for one of theirs, which is the collegial way the system should be run locally. I've never seen them fill at the front counter. I'd like to see a Hali-growler that all the locals could use interchangeably but we know why that will never happen.
The Garrisons are spoken for (Robert, Tim, and Sandy). I'd prefer to trade for Propellers and Granites, which I don't have at the moment, but cash will do.

Check out what Firefox thinks growlers should be filled with.

Re: growlers
That is definitely 'eeew'! Technically, it's giving those suggestions because there's no hyphen in "prefilled" (nor for that matter in "refilled"), but there should be in "pee-filled", but somebody is adding bad words to the dictionary if it suggests "pr-filled".KMcK wrote:Check out what Firefox thinks growlers should be filled with.![]()
