Hey folks. New to forum and newbie brewer. First brew in the secondary awaiting bottling. All ready to move on to partial mashes.
Bit by the bug bad: currently building 3-carboy fermentation chamber with TC-9201D dual stage temp control. No messing about getting started here.
Looking forward to sharing my experiences (and beer) and making some great beer.
Beer lover who officially stopped drinking non-micros....
Cheers!

Welcome! Ferm chamber is a great investment (although I still don't have one and need to brew seasonally).

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Previously, I Was using a fish tote full of water.....was a hassle and took nearly an hour. New chiller had my 6 gal brew down to pitching temp in roughly 10 mins using our well water.

Just popped my AG CHERRY. 90 min mash time makes for lots of sideline brewskis. Beer bread going in the bread maker soon!
