INNUS & GUNN Highland Cask

Post by 2kayak » Thu Dec 02, 2010 8:06 pm

Anyone else disappointed with this offering :?:

From the ratebeer reviews, I guess the icky-sweetness is normal. I thought mine was bad.

I don't have a great palate, but I'm having trouble locating any Speyside character . . .

Mines still in its little box and in the fridge. Now I won't be so stingy and just drink it.

Let you know what I think when I drink it.

FWIW, I think I&G is a heavy beer and one is more than enough for me.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Definitely disappointed. WAAAAAAY too sweet - like soda. I got some oak, but not too much Speyside.
