30L capacity with a tap for taking samples. It's on their website. Quite nice especially for the price!

Re: Tax Free Weekend!
I actually grabbed one of these fermenters last week for 98 bucks at NG Burnside. I have a Festa Brew Dry in it now as I didn't want to spend a brew day making a guest beer. It's a very cool piece of equipment

I have a similar one just without the tap. If I was in NS would get one!

Re: Tax Free Weekend!
I was actually going in to buy a beer gun and stumbled on this. I then noticed the "keg Kings" beer gun in OBK for 50 bucks and had gift card money, so I ended up with both for less than the price of one stainless steel fermenter not on sale

How is the spigot? Does it have a dip tube or just an opening inside?

Just an opening, but I'm envisioning replacing the spigot with a stainless ball valve with a camlock.Hobbitfu wrote:How is the spigot? Does it have a dip tube or just an opening inside?

I'm sorry I missed this
wanted to pick up some fermenters more suitable for long term sour aging.

Re: Tax Free Weekend!
I'm sure a glass carboy would work just fine in a dark place. One odd note, I can't seem to source a piece of tubing/racking cane/filler to fit in the spigot. May have to go with something that fits over the outside.MitchK wrote:I'm sorry I missed this

Re: Tax Free Weekend!
Mitch K! We still have the used 30L Stainless Steel fermenters on for $99.
In regard to the spigot filler conundrum, I've used a 3/8 bottling wand for bottling as well as 3/8 siphon hose for keg filling.

Re: Tax Free Weekend!
They are currently they are in Burnside, Oxford, Main Street, and Sackville locations.
At Burnside we have roughly 6-10 remaining.
We will keep them at $99 until they run out!

Re: Tax Free Weekend!
Hobbitfu,
Via our online shop shipping would be either $10 for standard delivery or $13 for one day delivery.
Here is a link to the used stainless fermenter on the site.

Re: Tax Free Weekend!
I picked up one of the SS fermenters as well, missed the no tax but it was still a good deal.
I think it will be great for fruit beer, since i always lose so much to trub and end up with under 5 gal
