I think it was just a case of he didn't know what he was doing. If it becomes an issue with spam then I'd have no problem doing that, but I'd hate to restrict people just for the sake of it.

It's set that way by default..and I figured we're a reasonable enough group that it wouldn't be abused. I'd like for people to be able to send out a mass notification if necessary, but will disable it if need be.

I think just a 2 or 3 post minimum before you are able to use the mass pm system. Some of us still need it.

Even a 1 post minimum would stop someone who isn't familiar with how the forum works from sending a mass PM intro. Then again I didn't mind at all, it just makes it hard to comment on and welcome him.

I'm more concerned with users turning of their pms due to messages like this. But then again, maybe it reminds them we're here, lol. Didn't bother me either, I didn't even know it was a mass pm.
