Would it be worthwhile to add a field in our profiles for Untappd and have it generate a link just like it does for facebook? I think it's a decent way to find peoples' reviews. Perhaps Beer Advocate and any of those other sites too?

That said, there was an incident on their birthday where I ended up drinking Coors (per the rules!) and wanted to check in to get the birthday badge, but the servers were being fussy and I ended up being recorded as having drank it three times, making it one of my top six beers. Linking to my profile could be embarrassing.

This would be far more applicable for me than a Facebook link would.

Reviving this thread, any more brewnosers that use Untappd? So far I have chalmers and canuck, but it would be fun to have more.

I used to have it, but I deleted it. To buck the trend, I wasn't a big fan.

Just got on it before my trip to Vermont last week - 42 unique beers. Same username.

A proposition (conceived while drinking, which is when the best ones are! ):

I've created a "The Brewnosers" brewery, and added a beer named "Beer". Here with LD, we're thinking that folks could use it as a quick way to make note of beers brewed by fellow members. Thoughts?

I'm on there as shanesteeves. I actually really like Untappd a lot. It's nice to see what others are currently having and it's also a great way to keep track of what beers you've had and how you enjoyed them. I don't always remember what beers that I've had and have searched Untappd on a number of occasions just for that reason. Also, as a brewer, it's interesting to see how others are enjoying (or not) your beers.

I am on there, I use it all the time for the same reasons Shane mentioned. I don't have to try unmemorable beers again that I forgot and I can compare my old comments on good beers I have previously tried. My username is the same as on this forum.
