2 years is coming up!

Post by Jimmy » Fri Sep 14, 2012 9:15 pm

September 22 is the 2 year anniversary of the forum...we've grown significantly in the past 2 years :rockin:

Here's a few comparison stats from when I started using google analytics..Comparisons are between January 28, 2011-September 14, 2011 and January 28, 2012- September 14, 2012..All these stats are on a per day basis:

This is phpbb3 stats as of March 31, 2011

and this is as of today, September 14, 2012

Those are just a few stats, but the numbers are pretty interesting. Total visits, unique visits and pageviews have all doubled or better!

I nominate Jimmy for a Brewnoser Lifetime Achivement award for actually taking the time to set up the site a better site and contributing to the club growth.

Agreed.

What happened in march to cause that spike? I also like the weekly cyclic pattern, does it peak on Friday or Saturday?

The lowest point of the week is typically a Saturday, and the highest the beginning of the week. Not sure what caused the spike in March.

...and thanks guys, but I'm just glad I've got a spot to learn about brewing..that was my whole mission with this thing because I had no idea what I was doing (and still don't  but I'm a hell of a lot better off than I would have been otherwise) and I just wanted a local source to learn.. Little did I know just how much knowledge there was available around here! I've met many great people I probably wouldn't have met otherwise :cheers2:

I will agree that there is great reward in finding fellow individuals to share your hobby with and grow your understanding as a result.

However, as several people (inculding myself, who bought brewnosers.com) were thinking about updating ye olde Brewnosers site, you actually delivered.

And really.... connecting a bunch of people who were looking for the same sort of thing?

Really, just....

Just looked at some stats through google analytics and we're up to ~150,000 pageviews a month, and ~5000 unique visitors each month :rockin:

Awesome!

I was in my LHS on Tuesday and they said that they have pointed a bunch of people our way (I left some business cards). Since no one else has identified with SAAZ I assume they are just creeping in the shadows. I also don't know how to quantify "bunch", it is Sackville NB after all.

Good stats I guess. Is there a scale we fall into?

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:
