I have some 20 year old mead

Well, 20 years ago I made a batch of mead and I still have a few bottles left. I have no idea what mead is supposed to taste like so I have no idea if I hit any sort of style guidelines. Is there a commercial mead you can buy so I can ground truth my aged mead?

Yep! Mountain meadworks up in the Truro area has some good stuff, New Scotland has made it in the past as well. There's also Ursan Meadery in the valley which is not bad but very sweet for my tastes. Most of the mead makers are fairly small so farm markets are probably where you'll find them.
